It was so much fun at the Wild Animal Park in the springtime because of all the baby animals. I thought I'd share these little pelicans with you all.

WOW! They are so ugly that they are cute!
They look like they have just hatched? Did you see them hatch? If not about how old are they?
Do you have any more?
I agree! They are cute in their own hideous little way.
Regretfully, I didn't get to see these little babies hatch. I can only assume they are quite young, but don't know just how soon before I saw them that they hatched.
This is the Pacific Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis)
L 51" WS 79" WT 8.2lb. (give or take)
