I took the following photos at the Arcata Community Center,. These birds are all residents of Wildlife Images Rehab and Education center in Grants Pass Oregon. The first is Phoenix a Golden Eagle that was hand raised and imprinted to humans so cannot be released to the wild.

What beautiful creatures! I kept thinking "Now THIS one is the most beautiful" and then I'd click on the next ...
I notice Buddy has his head turned almost backwards ... I'd heard owls can do this but have never seen one do it!
I love Phoenix, the Golden Eagle, too!
Great shots, Marilyn
I agree, Jane. The birds are totally beautiful. How I love pictures like this! You did good work.
I wonder how many people realize that God gave us instructions about our responsibility regarding what he has created?
Rev. 7:3 Hurt not the Earth, Neither the Sea, Nor the trees.
The human species will one day have much to answer for.....
What great photos, Marilyn! Those are some birds! I don't think we have a place like that around here.
Beautiful. Just Beautiful.
Jane Opal the Snowy Owl turned her heads allthe way around while I stood there and watched her.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments.
Our sermon today was about God's creations. Not just a rose. God's rose. So these aren't just birds. They are God's birds and beautiful beyond belief! Thanks for posting them.
Good pictures
