They really do go at it, don't they? They get pretty savage, too. For a few weeks this Spring, I began noticing one-eyed finches and thought it might have been some sort of disease until I saw them fighting over food. First target is the eyes.

Kathleen, those are excellent! 1st one: "Gimmee, gimmee, gimmee!" 2nd one: "Yes, you have to eat it ALL!" 3rd one: "Ok, ok, I'll just guzzle it all straight down." Reminds me of my kids.
