I don't work with birds, but I am part of our local chapter of the Audubon Society.  They just held Bald Eagle Days, which is an annual event.  They have several birds on display and as you can see, one can get quite close to them to photograph and learn more about them from the falconers.  Unfortunately, the big bald eagle and some of the other birds of prey they showed were indoors and we were not allowed to photograph in there.  Wow, it was so awesome to be so close to them, though.

I have lots more pictures I haven't yet processed or weeded through, yet.  Hopefully soon though.  Tomorrow I head out for more wild birding.  I got a tip where there are a dozen to two dozen bald eagles, so we are going to try to find and photograph them.  Guess I better hit the hay...

I sure hope you find the bald eagles and get some photos.   :thumbsup:
