Kathleen, another one I wouldn't want to tangle with. And he's looking right at me! :D Wonderful shot.
Amazing shot! How close did you get to this one?

The falconer was holding him, I'd say I was about 5 feet or so away when I took this shot.

This is a wonderful shot. Well done!!! Do you have more?

Maybe so, but it's that glaring eye that spots the prey before the feet get into the act.

Thank you. Here's another one...(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shekinahphotography.com%2Fimg%2Fv4%2Fp407446261-2.jpg&hash=b4320cc542d6fb0b40802c18f9ac226b00daac7d) and you can see more in my Raptor Gallery, http://www.shekinahphotography.com/raptors (http://www.shekinahphotography.com/raptors)
He is beautiful....Doesn't our Lord have an amazing imagination to have created so many different colorings on the many different birds in the world!!!
Judy, I agree with that. Just as applied to birds - so many species, all with different sizes, shapes and colorings. And then to consider all other animals and plants!
You are both so right! God is so creative!
In case you're interested, there's a great Christian birding blog (besides mine, haha, just kidding) at http://leesbird.com/ (http://leesbird.com/). The current blog post is about the birds of the air, in the Bible, and includes one of my images. On this blog, you can click from a list of birds of the Bible and it will pull up the Bible verse that mentions that specific type of bird. So cool! Lots of other great stuff on there, too. A gal I know has a regular section on there, called Val's Looking Glass. (I think that's what it's called, can't remember right now)
