There is a park across the way from my house, and a small lake which has one great blue heron and one great egret in residence. They normally work different sides of the lake, but recently, I manage to get them both in one shot.

Pepper prefers the dark under the trees, apparently because he's better camoflaged there. Salt is often on the shore, or on a fallen tree in the water, just a few yards from people; he seems less concerned about them.
Wow great captures. We have a lot of Egrets around here, I have seen them sitting by the side of the freeway as it goes past the bay and also sitting in the median strip of grass.
Awesome shot.......great place to get more interesting shots along with this one...great work!
