I took this picture as we were coming back fro a boat ride from Everglades City, Florida. As we were going out, I had my long Lens on my camera hoping to see an Eagle. Suddenly all these Porpoises started jumping next to the boat. I started taking a lot of shots but could tell by looking through the viewfinder that I was getting Parts of them. With no good photos I felt sort of down, until the captain told be to be ready because they would do the same thing going back. So. I put my Nikon 28-200 Lens on and was ready to start shooting. This is one of the better shots I was able to get. Hope you enjoy and may the Lord bless & keep you.

Steve that is awesome. A beautiful shot!
Thanks Judy. It's one pf my favorites to. I have one where he's jumping head on. But there's just something about all that twisting and turning. Glad you enjoyed the picture and may the Lord bless & keep you.

Oh, I love it, Steve!
Thanks Jeanne. This was the first and only time I can remember having an opportunity like this one. With the Porpoises being so close, and being able to just wait and compose the pictures. Usually, you don't know what's going to happen and you have to guess but these Guys had a pattern down. And were flipping and flopping and I was having fun. I'm happy I could share this picture with you. I'll go ahead and add the other good picture I got. It's more of a head on shot.

They are such beautiful animals. Your picture is great...they both are!
Thanks Judy. I loved the way all the water came up beside them. Maybe one day I'll get a photo of them completely out of the water. Thanks for your comments and may the Lord bless & keep you.

You could have almost reached out and touched them!
