They REALLY bring in the infrequent customers to the feeders!

Wow!  Lovely!

But I have a photo of one of these that is so irritating.

Paul has six wooden pillars across his front verandah and one of these has made numerous holes in the pillars and nothing will stop it.  The pillars are really a mess!  We have some of the holes covered and stuffed and some with duct tape, etc.  You can hear the bliter in the house pecking away and we have to go out and shoo it away.

Paul sure doesn't know what to do.  This is a brand new home!!!

That normally means they're after bugs, Pat... Have you considered calling in an exterminator to check for termites?  The house we had in Charleston, SC was brand-new and had a MAJOR infestation.  The railing on our porch had to be replaced but we caught it in time and they didn't move into the frame of the house.  Something to think about.

No bugs.  These pillars are hollow and brand new.

This little guy just like to peck and drill.

In the past I have seen woodpeckers bang away on stove pipes because maybe they like the sound??

Again Gary, nice shots!  Your bird spa is getting a reputation far and wide.

Wow, I just got a picture of one of these little buggers at my friend's cabin last week.  I could hear him out there peck peck peck.
Nice shots.
