Title: Sora Rail
Post by: Fotobirder on February 09, 2014, 12:23:42 PM
I was surprised to see this Sora Rail in the Viera Wetlands near Melbourne, Florida. My wife, Louise and myself have seen the Least Bitterns and they are small. The Sora Rail is very small also. My wife spotted him and I was able to get A couple good photos. But it took A lot of patience.

He does look tiny and his feet look big for his size.  Also, does he have a tail?  None shows in the photo.

He doesn't have much of A tail. It's hard to see at that angle. But it's the white area on the end. It just barely curls up A little. A very different Bird.

Have A Blessed Day
