Title: Sunny Snooze

Caught this young chipping sparrow relaxing, on a beautiful sunny day.  So soft and fluffy.  This is the first year I've seen this type of bird in our yard.  There were several of them all hopping around in our long grass and flitting from branch to branch, playing in the trees.  They're so cute and tiny!  I've really enjoyed them, but they must have moved on because I haven't seen them in a few days now.  Sad to see them go.

Nice shot.  I like it when they get all fluffed out and sun "absorbent".  It just shows that they are comfortable and trusting in the environment.   :thumbsup:

gj-haha absorbant, I love it!  I'm always saying that they look like little cotton balls. LOL
