This guy is a survivor. If you'll notice, the top of his head feathers are darker than the rest. They are stained with blood. Yesterday his eye (the one your viewing) was swollen shut and the top of his head looked to be "open". I'm thinking he escaped a cat. He looks a LOT better today. Notice the small scar in the upper-right of his eye? If nothing else, this guy is TOUGH!

Poor guy...he looks like he is suffering. Is there any shelter nearby. Bless you for keeping him and the others in food.
