Has he nested there? or is there food you have put in for him? Great picture!
Thanks Judy. I just drove by this and took the shot...I didn't look in the bowl, but I assume that someone puts birdseed in it, as I often see birds hanging around the bowl.
Well it is a great shot. Have you seen other kinds of birds there? Looking forward to more!
He certainly looks as though he "owns" that bowl! ;)
Ownership is what blackbirds assume about everthing they see.
I love listening to them sing as they sit on the bullrushes here. Wonderful song.
I didn't get very good light (or focus) on this white breasted nuthatch while he was goofing off in an adjacent bowl.

Ken, looks pretty good to me. :) He almost looks as though he's protecting "his" bowl from the blackbird or any other invaders. :D
He isa cute I can just imagine him "goofing off"!
