Title: The hazards of waterside landscape photography
Post by: smhead on March 28, 2009, 08:15:18 PM
This isn't a great photo (not even a good one) because it was not planned or composed. I just wanted to quickly take advantage of the situation and get a picture of my visitor. He popped up to see how the photos were coming along and watched me the whole time. I did not stay long...

Reminds me of something that happened on a trip to florida. We were in everglades national park and I was out trying to photograph something along the side of the road (I don't remember what) . My wife says "Hooooonnnnnneeeeeeyyyyy! get back in the car there's an aligator over there!!!!!!" Yup there was indeed. About 20 feet away.
Needless to say I got back in the car.

Well, hello there, Mr. alligator....lol.  I think I would be running, not walking back to my car!  LOL.  Wow, great capture, and I'm sure a very quick one.  Thanks for sharing it.  :)
