The Yellow-belly Sapsucker is back and I caught him with the Oly. He does love that suet!

In my haste to get these posted I jumped on the wrong ID. I learn this is NOT a YBSS but a Red-bellied woodpecker. Ooops
Well he IS beautiful. Your joy at having the unusual birds come back is contagious.
Way to go!

Thanks, Judy. He was back again for the morning feed! Pretty cool.
Good series of shots. We used to have a pair of downy woodpeckers and a pair of hairy woodpeckers visiting our suet blocks. Alas, no money for wild bird food any more. :'(
