Thank you juanital!
I don't know what they are, have not done any research to find out, just had the opportunity to shoot them so I took advantage.
They took over my Bluebird house this year so I let them stay. I have another house for the Bluebirds so they were not left out in the cold.
Thanks for looking.
Don
I think this is a wonderful shot - shows personality and all!
Well Done!!! I echo the comments above!
I agree, it's a great shot! ;)
What a great shot, and he is so beautiful.

Thanks everyone for looking and for the comments, glad you like the photo.
The first one I posted I think was the male, I think this is the female.

They're both so cute! :)
You have talent there Don. Well Done!!!
Wow, Great shot! :o
If you don't mind me saying, I think it looks like some kind of a flycatcher.
I've never seen anything like it.
I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to use an online bird identification site to no avail. I'm going to go home and pull out my copy of Petersons bird guide.
Ok, I found it, though the drawing in Peterson's does not look exactly like your photo. The crest gives it away. I checked online and found a photo that matched yours though.
It's a Great Crested Flycatcher
