Passing by the Amana Colonies with my sister, I saw a lake filled with lotus plants, and scores of Canada geese. The geese were so pleased with life there, that they didn't even leave as I walked among them. They just stepped out of my way. But just beyond the geese, there were four trumpeter swans. They saw me, and regally paddled off.
But I got a pretty good shot.
