A nice bull. ( Nice looking....I don't know about his personality). I had one chase me earlier. They are a bit spirited.[attachimg=#]
A fe[attachimg=#]w Bison grazing with gysers in back ground. I believe this is the Firehole River.
These are great pics they are so big and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.I would love to go to yellowstone one day.
Great photos! I would need a very long range zoom lens!!!
I don't think I'd be brave enough to get that close one.
Yes I will be more careful myself. Thanks.
And to think there were thousands of these on the prairies 150 years ago. Only to pe shot down with no idea of conservation.
Great pictures! They remind me of Louis Lamour's books!
A number of years ago my wife and I were heading out to west Yellowstone and our hotel one evening and we got caught up in a heard of Bison using the road as a shortcut! Nothing like looking out your drivers side window and looking a Bison in his bloodshot eye!
Unfortunately we had no camera handy :^(
Smokey, I would imagine they have the "right of way". ;D
We were worrying they would damage our rental car!
Wonderful captures! Yellowstone is such a magical, mystical place, isn't it?
Of all the places I have been...Yellowstone is one place I haven't been. Would love to go there and explore.
Great beasts! As a young boy, we visited Oklahoma where my brother was stationed, and it is there that I saw my first and only bison. A brave, but foolish cameraman got too close to to the big beast. It charged him, and while he escaped, his lovely old Nikon camera and 2 lenses did not! They were dropped and trampled to bits. Even though we were some distance and in our vehicle, I remember trembling in my socks!
That was an expensive lesson for him to learn.
