JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Well, I didn't return here until after 7 pm, but will pray as I head to bed.

The little PT cruiser has dents in it, but they aren't terrible and probably won't be noticed by anyone but me. So, although I told a friend it sounded like a buffalo stampede on my windows and vents, the Lord was very good - very good indeed.

I made chicken veggie soup for dinner tonight, and then finished making the other soup by adding some curry paste, a couple of tablespoons of rice, and a diced apple. Yum! Mulligatawny soup for tomorrow night. :)

Y'all have a wonderful evening with our Lord.

...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

I use Tylenol all the time and have been told to NEVER use aspirin.  That was from 2 different vet clinics.  I do agree the pup should go to the vet.

Thanks, Pat!  Now, why didn't I think of that?

Blue is still with us but not looking good at all...... :'(  She is Darrel's dog and what he decides to do is HIS decision, I can only suggest.  He loves her so much.

I really enjoyed hearing the Moscow Gospel Hillbilly Band yesterday at the care home.  A lot of the residents sang along with them, as they sing the old gospel favorites we grew up singing.  One of the ladies who sings with them took one of my books and is going to try to get me some speaking engagements/book signings.  Praise God for Christian connections!

Beth is really looking forward to going to church, especially after missing last Sunday.

Pat, I guess I need help!  I don't know how to attach a photo nor the website!

There it is.  My favorite animation.  For you new folks, just keep watching!!

I am running a tad behind today.  I looked at the filters on the heat pump and decided they desperately needed cleaned so did.  Rushing now.

I am all ready to go to church.  It is snowing a tiny bit.  But I will be back this afternoon for you know what!

Hi everyone on another bright but chilly morning here in Georgia.  After supper last night I was able to pick up my friends (Bob and Mary) computer from my other friend Rod.  He had completed the Windows 7 install and update and put files from the old hard drive on the computer.  I took it over to Bob and Mary's and hooked it back up and helped Mary install a couple of programs they use and get their Gmail back in operation.  I showed them how to use the LibreOffice to access their MS Office files.  There are a couple of other things to do on it but they could wait as Bob was tiring and the evening was advancing.  If Mary feels up to attending church this morning I will go over and stay with Bob while she and Pat go to church.  Otherwise I will go to church with Pat this morning.  I have some reports to prepare this morning for a Wednesday evening meeting and then will be pretty well caught up on my "to-do" list.  I guess it is time to make another one.  Does anyone else make "to-do" lists?

Marilyn, I didn't realize Walmart had Watkins vanilla.  I will have to let Pat know.

Judy, hope you aren't snowed in today and that John is feeling better.

Betty, we have had a very early spring here in the SE.  Our bradfort pear trees are now in bloom around Atlanta as are the spring flowers.  Did the Watkins salve have camphor in it?  I remember that smell as well now that you mention the salve. Stripping wallpaper is not an easy job but the final results with the new paper are always enjoyable.

Janet, so sorry to hear of the accident with the little dog and know how upsetting that can be.  Sure hope there are no internal injuries and that today will find the dog feeling better.

Pat, great idea for Janet to put her website in her signature.

Ruth Ann, those little dents certainly won't affect the running of your car.  Glad they were not worse.

Snow snow snow and more snow.  Also cold.  It is bright out but snow is either blowing or still coming down.

John got the truck running, it spluttered for about 10 seconds. and away it went.  If John were buying a new truck he would leave the Peterbuilt, Kenworth and International behind.  It would be Volvo all the way.  It is superior in driver comfort as well as in mechanics.  We never have to plug this unit in.  Thus a savings on our hydro bill.  This is coming from a die hard Pete driver!  Now getting out of the driveway may prove to be a challenge, we are pretty well snowed in and the driveway is too long to shovel.
