Beth is in Amarillo today for more blood work and the biopsy.  Please remember her in prayer.  This is stretching out so long........!

Father I come to you this morning thanking you for cutting off all blood supply to that so called tumor on Beth's thyroid. I thank you Lord, that you have caused it to shrink away to nothing. When the doctors go to examine her I thank you Father that they will find nothing there, that her thyroid will be restored to normal. In the name of Jesus Amen.

Janet, will she phone you later?

Beth called last night from Boise City.  She was tired, so was spending the night there at her Dad's.  No news yet, they said a day or two.  The waiting is the hardest part.

Janet, we're standing vigil with you. May you rest in His wonderful peace tonight.

Beth called today to see what the report is, and was told the results were "unclear."  So they are sending her slides to Houston, and it may be as long as two weeks before we have an answer.  So the waiting continues.

Oh, dear...  I'm not a good "waiter".

aaaawwwww       I'm not a good "waiter" either, but I will sure continue to pray for a good report.  

Thanks so much.  The only way I can endure waiting is to keep both mind and body BUSY.

This reminds me of 'hurry up and wait'!!!  Beth, you and all your family are in my prayers.

We'll continue to pray -  for strength and peace while you wait, as well as for a return to health and happiness for Beth. She's been through such an ordeal.

Oh Father, make Beth a great blessing in the future to others who suffer.  Enable her to thank You for even these things because You use them to enable her to be a blessing.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!  Beth's doctor called yesterday to say that she does NOT have cancer!!  Hallelujah!!

Thank you God for answering our prayers!

Amen to that, Marilyn!!  And thank you all for those prayers!  Beth continues to have mobility problems and hasn't been released for work yet.  I'm not sure she will be able to work any more, but I'm praying that she will.

Ms Janet, it is my wonder, how is Ms Beth? I pray she is more strong.

Mieka, Beth is still having trouble walking, is using a cane to get around.  Her friend John has been here for the better part of two weeks, so it has been a happy time for her, getting acquainted better with him.  But he is leaving tonight, so it will be back to reality for Beth.  We are taking her to the Dr. again next Thursday.  Thanks for asking, sweetie!

I will be praying that all goes well with the Doctor on Thursday for beth and that she won't miss John too much. God has a way of working all things together to the good of those who love the Lord.

I know Beth's surgery was much more serious than mine.  I can sure sympathise with her.  She is in my prayers.

Oh Father, I pray You'll work in Beth's body in such a way that she will look back upon this day to see that You've given her an entirely new life.  Through the work and love of Jesus Christ.

And I echo a hearty AMEN to that, AL.

Yes, we thank God that Beth does not have cancer.  She still needs prayer, though, because in spite of the back surgery, she still cannot walk very well, has pain and numbness in her feet and legs.  She had another MRI (we don't have the results as yet) on Thursday, which they hope will reveal the cause of these problems.

She is applying for Social Security Disability, and needs your prayers that she will get it, and the process will be expedited.  She has no income at all, and as you know, those bills just keep coming!

Janet, I'm very sorry to hear all this, but at the same time, grateful for all the good news that is intermingled.  I'm so very glad we can all have the privelege of praying together for her.  We will be praying.  God be with you and your family, and Beth.  Jen.

I wish I were coming with good news; unfortunately, it is the opposite.  Beth's doctor called her today with the results of that last MRI.  There is ANOTHER ruptured disc in her back!    They have made an appointment for the to see a "Pain Management" doctor on July 28th.  I guess this disc is the reason why she cannot feel her feet, and has fallen several times because of that lack of feeling.

She has appointments with two of her doctors on July 21 but I doubt we will learn much then.  One is her Neurologist, the other the one about the thyroid problem.

Your prayers are so valued, and so appreciated.  Thank you and may you be richly blessed for your generosity in praying.  We love you.

I am praying for Beth.  to see her pics, she looks so happy, and patient.  I would imagine it is difficult to understand the "why" of it all, but that is where faith comes in, I guess.
