I just need to ask you all to please pray for the Erasmus family who had to say goodbye to their wife and mother in October 2005.  She struggled with cancer for 10years and it has been difficult for the family.  They don't want to celebrate Christmas, as it hurts to much.  Being the first Christmas they will not have their mother with them

In the same prayer request I also want to ask that we pray for all the people in the world that have to face the same reality as my friends and their family.  May we please remeber that it's a difficult time for them all and pray to the Lord to help and guide them through this trying time.

Thank you.  Prayer is the strongest tool we've got to help and to fight with.

How very sad, Adri.  I'm truly sorry for this family.  It is a sad time of the year when you've lost someone special.  I can vouch for that.    I will be praying for that family and for others as well as you have mentioned.

Oh Father, You are so gracious!  I pray for the Erasmus family today.  I pray, Father, that You will do that wonderful thing that only You can do - make something especially good come out of this time of bereavement.  I pray You'll draw them to Yourself and reveal to them Your grace and mercy in such a way that they'll even be finally able to give You thanks for Your lordship over them.  Oh do this, Father, through our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Oh Father this is a very difficult time for this family I pray that they will gather together at and remember the good times not the sad times, I pray that  they will celebrate the birth of your son  and remember that He came to give them life and life more abundantly. I know their hearts are hurting Lord, but you can and will  send the Comforter to them to comfort them in their bereavement time. Thank you Father, for your abundant blessings for this family.
