Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Ruth, I've been selling Avon off and on for a long time but this recent time is about 13 years or so.  I'm not even sure.  But I sold it in Ireland and before I went to Ireland to live, I sold it in Willowdale.

Frantz, I don't know of any of our members living in Louisianna but I think that we have a couple of ladies in Mississippi.

Maybe this is fitting after the horrendous weather that our friends have gone through today...

A Shelter In the Time of Storm
(Click to hear music)

You have been a shelter from the storm.
Isaiah 25:4

Words: Vernon J. Charlesworth, circa 1880.

Music: Ira D. Sankey, circa 1885

The Lord's our Rock, in Him we hide,
A Shelter in the time of storm;
Secure whatever ill betide,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain
Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,
A weary land, a weary land;
Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

A shade by day, defense by night,
A Shelter in the time of storm;
No fears alarm, no foes afright,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

The raging storms may round us beat,
A Shelter in the time of storm
We'll never leave our safe retreat,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

O Rock divine, O Refuge dear,
A Shelter in the time of storm;
Be Thou our Helper ever near,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

A very appropriate hymn Pat.  I love all those old hymns.

Fast Eddie:  If you went through Pat's town....you went through mine too! ;)  I would have LOVED to have heard from you!

Pat is right....she is always awake!...haha.

Well, Janet... I was kinda hoping Beth or John would have seen my question, and come in here and answered it! :D

I join with all of you, in praying for our friends in the South!

Hello all!

Ruth, I've been selling Mary Kay for almost 2 and a half years.  I've only been "serious" about it, and really making a career for about 6 months though.  I love the product, and even if I didn't sell it, would still keep using it. :)

We've got tornado watches and stuff in the counties around us.  I guess it is the fringes of Katrina.  It will absolutely pour for a few minutes, then stop.  Then rain, then stop.  Interesting, to say the least.

I'm gonna go look at some pictures i just took.  I'll tyr to be back in in the mornign!

Hi Franz in SA!!!

Pat

Great to see you online, Frantz!  It's wonderful to have a member in South Africa on here!
