JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Congratulations to the happy couple...Pat and Paul!!

Well, the saga of the garage door wasn't over.  This morning I couldn't use the remote in the house to open the door.  So I used the keypad outside the little door.  I backed the car out and the remote in the car wouldn't shut it.  So had to get out and use the keypad.  I needed to re-program both remotes.  I can do that.

So when I got home, I changed, got the manual, remote and philips screw driver.  I opened the garage door and then shut it and disengaged the opener with the red rope.  I got the ladder and up on the second step.  I took out two screws but the cover on the power head wouldn't come off.  I felt above and there were two more screws.  But I had to go up another step and my legs wouldn't do it.  So I called Kaye Don.  In five minutes we had both remotes and the keypad all working.  All is good and well now.  Nice having a brother living next to next door.

My SIL just invited me for a cook out back in the woods at 5pm.  Sounds like fun!

The only place in the world that the Indy 500 isn't televised is in Indiana.  So listening to the race on the radio.

I have been so busy I haven't been in here since Friday!

But I surely was thinking of our Pat and Paul, and happy to read the accounts of their wedding.  They each deserve a loving mate to share heir lives with, as God intends.  May every blessing be theirs!

Carol--no, we do not have a basement!  Well, our big house does, if we have enough warning, we could run up there and get in that basement.  Tornadoes are so devastating, and so unpredictable!  It's great of you and Don to work helping out your neighbors.  You surely will have extra stars in your crowns!

I agree about the phone company never being wrong!  In our experience, whenever one of our alarm customers has the phone company come to do anything, they usually unhook the alarm line (not theirs so they don't know what it is or don't care) and then Darrel has to make a service call to hook it back up.  >:(  Aggravating.

We went to our daughter's last night, as Curtis was home, with Toni and baby Alexis. The baby is already crawling and pulling up--how fast they grow!  Anyway, Jeff's almost 103 years old grandma had invited them to supper.  She does the roast and the dessert, Diane does the rest.  Anyway, Diane asked me to come cook the other dishes as they are so swamped in the greenhouse and store this time of year, and Grandma always welcomes us a part of the family.  We had a nice time and got some great hugs from grandson Curtis.  Mark wasn't there, as he was moving into an apartment and working at his new job as a cabinet maker.

I have to work Monday and Tuesday, hope my hand will be all right.  I'm supposed to keep it out of water, so that will be a challenge, even using gloves.  I traded one shift with my sister so I can have Saturday off to help Pat with her garage sale.  I will take some items too, but not too much as I don't want to have to bring it back home!

I plan to post the new Thoughts soon as I'm working tomorrow.

HELP, PLEASE!  With our new software, I don't seem to know how to make the link.  :-[  :-\  The new Thoughts is ready and already moved to the Thoughts area, so if someone can make the link, I will be so grateful.  Sorry to be so computer illiterate, just not my thing, I guess.  :(
